Warren Rena contacted, Could Mod's please delete this post?

Post by Brian Adair »

Hey folks I was wondering if anyone has had any contact with Warren Rena? I have traded with him in the past and everything went fine. This time around I sent him models up front and I have been waiting roughly 2 months for some compensation. The last time I heard from him was 5 weeks ago. He gave me a cell number that I have left at least a dozen messages on and he has not replied. I am loathe to start legal action against him as I have had such good responses from him in the past and he seems like a great guy, however, at this point I am starting to wonder. Any information or help would be greatly appreciated and if this is not in the right section, then by all means move it.

Hi Brian,
I had some very positive dealing with Warren in the past. Here is an older (2004) email address of his you might want to try.

hwarrenrena@gmail.com

I very much prefer to do all communications by email rather than PMs. Here's mine: Ralphf52@aol.com You can check my references here using my last name "Famiglietti or on eBay using "captainralph". 513 @100%. I can take photos and accept Paypal. Tons of free cell minutes so calling or exchanging phone numbers is not a problem. I Live in Prospect CT 06712 USA and don't mind doing a little driving if you're close. (I can meet you halfway)

Bad Trader

Post by Brian Adair »

Thanks Sandy but I already have that email and I have 8-9 emails saved from over the weeks when he has responded saying he would get the minis out.

As far as this not being bad trading, how long does it go before it is bad trading? I have been ignored for almost 5 weeks without a phone call or email and the total transaction is over 2 months.

Again, I need info on how to proceed.

It's not a bad trader thread until you SAY it is.

If you're just trying to get some info, then it belongs here.

Once you've decided that you aren't waiting any longer & are going to follow through with a neg ref & possible legal action, THEN you post your proof in the BTR thread.

Hope that helps!

Eric
Lower rating? You ship first.

I think what this situation needs is some imagination.

Want my help with a BTR or backout? All messages sent/posted should be in CHRONOLOGICAL order. Otherwise, I just won't read it.

The problem with this forum as opposed to "Bad Trader" is that is doesn't get near the publicity and thus makes it more likely that I will have to pursue legal matters as I am less likely to get a response.

If you want this in the BT forum, then post it following the rules re: BTRs (i.e. communication thread, amount of wait, etc.).

Your initial post was asking for info, not saying "I've waited long enough, here's our deal, etc." which would constitute a BTR.
Trading Guidelines:
1. Lower rating ships first - even if I am purchasing.
2. If you agree to buy something, you have 72hrs. in which to pay. If payment is not received in 72hrs., I will automatically post a Non-Payment/Backout thread.
3. Refs are left upon positive receipt of goods, NEVER beforehand!
4. I accept Paypal & USPS money orders and charge for shipping AT COST. I make no profit from it.
5. I trade NIB/new models at retail.

Brian, if you want it as a BTR, file it as a BTR. If it wasn't moved we'd have simply nuked it, then no one would see it.
