Taking a lead from traderchick I want to leave some positive feedback about my experiences here on BT and some of the individuals who made it happen.
I have been a registered user for almost 3 years, but I have only started using my account actively for about a month. I did not use my account for a long time, because I was afraid of getting rolled as a new user and not receiving anything I traded for. I had a few friends that used BT. I heard a story from one about shipping out an army and after 2 months, not getting a trade in return. I also heard horror stories about items were thought to be in one condition and arriving broken or damaged. All of that culminated to lack use usage of the trade possibilities here.
After a while, I got inspired to do an OOP army and no one I know had trade stock of what I was looking for. I went to eBay to try to purchase these items, and it was getting expensive. I figured I would give it a try and see what happened. I picked a few things from my trade stock that I could stand to lose if things went that way, and made my first post. My first trade set the tone for the rest of my trading here.
Warpigs8man traded me 3 OOP Imperial Robots (Circa 1989) and an OOP Imperial Dreadnought in exchange for 27 metal grots. I had to send first (which was fine), so I sent them Priority Mail with Delivery Conformation, and everything arrived in good condition. I received my return package of goodness within 3 days. In retail terms, I did make out better on the deal, but it really helped gain my trust in the BT trade system. I repeat traded with him for another Dread and an OOP Carnifex.
My second trade was a PayPal trade for an OOP Landraider. Kanuck was another one who made this experience worthwhile. Even though I had a rating of 2 sent the item first, and I paid in full once it had arrived. He is one of a few that I have repeated trading with here.

Trading Guidelines:
1. Lower rating ships first - even if I am purchasing.
2. If you agree to buy something, you have 72hrs. in which to pay. If payment is not received in 72hrs., I will automatically post a Non-Payment/Backout thread.
3. Refs are left upon positive receipt of goods, NEVER beforehand!
4. I accept Paypal & USPS money orders and charge for shipping AT COST. I make no profit from it.
5. I trade NIB/new models at retail.
