ok so... this is a great thread...
Now with my modest 28 rating I feel rather lowly on that scale.
But I would like to point something else out... right up there under my username. The thing that says "Admin".
While I've always taken stock in that I have a LOT to lose by ripping someone off I still play by the 'rules' and if a higher rating asks me to send first, I will.
Of course if they then screw me...... I have a pretty big arsenal, just ask Ticknor. (and he didn't even rip me off)

Yes, well... every system has people who slip through the cracks.
There are those with special exceptions (Admins & mods).
Adam worries me, though.
He has a really high rating but he's OPENLY left most of those for himself. That is obviously shady and I think that, one day, he's going to really rip someone off while taking advantage of is "high rating" and "Admin status" (at least YOUR ref's are real).
We need to do something to stop that monster before he ruins Bartertown for everyone!

..and, Yes, I'm reaching the "Do you have a life" status...
...and, except for Friday nights (family night) and Saturdays (Game day)... No. I do not.

I do a fair amount of buying and selling, I admit. Trades are more cyclical for me. Thanks to that insidious thing called Life and Family... games are now going out the door more than getting played.. looks like the next items to get traded are gonna be Epic Space Marines so I can get a couple camera memory cards for a digital camera.. cause the kids keep being cute and growing up and having "important life moments".. sigh
(anychance we can get that list of rating levels to become the new tag under the ratings? I am getting tired of being a Journeyman trader, yanno?)

2+2=5 for sufficiently large values of 2.
If you don't have your Location listed in your User Control Panel, why not take a second and update it? It will let your trading partners know where you are from the beginning.
I use the Unofficial Porkuslime Trading Guidelines - if you have way less refs.. you ship first.
