I have a ton (literally) of stuff I want to sell in one sale. Is it against the Bartertown rules or even bending the rules to have a link to a sale website I want to build.
My intention is not to flood Bartertown with ads once a week for the next 6 months...my junk pile really IS that big.
Anyway...I will work within the boundaries and your guidance!
Thanks Bartertown!!

The only stupid question is the one you don't ask.
There are two ways to go about this: One is to contact me about advertising and the other is just to post lots of ads. I appreciate your consideration in not wanting to spam the boards.

There are traders who post trade ads once a week, and then put the link to their "trade & sale" lists in there for more items they didn't mention.
You could try that. I doubt the powers that be would mind.

Lower rating? You ship first.
Give me a sense of humor Lord. Give me the grace to see a joke.
To get some humor out of life and pass it on to other folk.
I think what this situation needs is some imagination.

Want my help with a BTR or backout? All messages sent/posted should be in CHRONOLOGICAL order. Otherwise, I just won't read it.

how about ads posting in general what you got, like plastic cadians, Rt marines.. or whatever. and people can be like, oh, I'm interested in whatever, and then go search your site.
I follow the idea LOWER references ships/pays first. It keeps things safer for anyone, as I would never desire to have to start over again. Nor would I want to loose the trust of any fellow gamers. That is how I ended up with my reference collection! I always follow through with my deal!

That's not a bad idea, except for "bad" links if you see where I am going... Always hover before clicking...

Alternate Sites
For those of you inclined to programming, try listing your items with and OScommerce site. Essentially it allows you to track items just like you actually had an online store, and its free. You'll need seperate web hosting, but the technology itself is very useful.
OScommerce.com has everthing you need. I also you grab the Easy Populate addition for ease of inventory management.
2 cents from the troll.
