Passing the Torch

After 15 years on the site, and 12 of those as an administrator, I’ve decided it’s time for me to step down from the role.

A lot has changed over the years, both on the site and in life in general. My hobbies and free time are not what they used to be, and I have not been able to give the site the level of attention it deserves for quite some time. Because of that, I feel it is the right time to hand the role over to someone else who can be more active and involved moving forward.

With that in mind, I will be looking for someone to take on the responsibilities of administrator in my place over the coming weeks. Membership status, time with the community, and references will all be taken into consideration when making that decision. I want to make sure the role goes to someone who knows the site, understands the community, and can be trusted to help keep things running smoothly. This will include the Facebook group and the Discord server.

I may still pop in from time to time, but I will be stepping back from the day-to-day responsibilities in full.

I wanted to let everyone know directly, and also to open the door for anyone who feels they would be a good fit for the role. If you believe you can pick up the torch and do Btown proud, please contact me directly.
