Basing 15mm figures for the AWI

Obviously, the basing often depends on the rules you use, but it also may depend on the figures. I am in the process of unpacking my miniatures. I have a collection of 15mm Frontier, Minifig, Peter Pig. What rules and size bases do you use? If you answer, please list how many figures you would put on a base.
