Splitting trade up = multiple reference entries?

Post by black cavalier »

I'm in the middle of a deal for a large amount of cash. Because the buyer isn't able to get the full amount in 1 month, we've agreed we'll break the trade into 3 parts, spreading it out over a couple of paychecks. So, how many trade refs can we leave for each other? 1 because it's one total deal, or 3 because we're making 3 seperate transactions? I'm not trying to "play" the system, I just don't want us to miss out on multiple good trade refs if it's allowed.

Thanks

I'd say that would only be one deal.

one deal. no multiple refs.
Trading Guidelines:
1. Lower rating ships first - even if I am purchasing.
2. If you agree to buy something, you have 72hrs. in which to pay. If payment is not received in 72hrs., I will automatically post a Non-Payment/Backout thread.
3. Refs are left upon positive receipt of goods, NEVER beforehand!
4. I accept Paypal & USPS money orders and charge for shipping AT COST. I make no profit from it.
5. I trade NIB/new models at retail.

Even though it'll be sent in installments, It's still only 1 deal.
The gene pool could use a little chlorine.

Lower rating always ships first, (unless I have dealt with you before and on good terms). Sorry, that's just the way it is.

Okay... since the responses here seem to be so evenly split, I'll throw my "one deal" in here to, hopefully, break the tie.

Lower rating? You ship first.

I think what this situation needs is some imagination.
