They can scout even in the Rhino/Immolator?

EDIT: Found it in the book, wow that has changed. Awesome!

Yes! That is their central coolest factor. I usually run 2-3 Dom units in my pure lists.

Going First?
Pregame: Setup on the line. Scout up to 12" away and stay 12" from your target.
Turn 1: Move 6, Pop out, blow faith, bye-bye target.

Going Second?
Pregame: Deploy outflank reserve.
Turn 2+: Come in, blow something up/clear an objective or just guarantee linebreaker. :)

Question about the Quad Gun on bastion.

So I was reading the rules and it says if you buy one as an upgrade it counts as an emplaced weapon rather than a gun emplacement. How does that work for an enemy shooting at you? For example, normally you cannot hit the unit inside the building correct? What about the guy (or in this case the girl) chilling on her Quad gun on the roof? Can she be targeted normally or does it fall under that she is inside the bastion?

Hopefully all of that makes sense.

Emplaced weapon means that it can be fired by the dudes inside the building.
Gun Emplacement means you have to be chilling on the roof in base contact to fire it.

Emplaced is much better. It was an awesome ruling from SHA.

Awesome. That makes things so much better. AV14 with the new rules is tough to crack!

And you can score from it. :)

That was one thing I was trying to find out. How does one score from the Bastion? Just so I can explain it in games.

Two ways:
(Page 134)
- Claimed buildings count as a scoring model
- Models in vehicles/buildings count as scoring.

So as long as the building is within 3" of the objective, both the building and the unit inside count as controlling it.

Thanks! That's handy, especially with a Bastion!

Yeah, also fun trick for late game with forts.

Even if the fort gets blown up, it generally stays on the table. You put one objective behind it and disembark your unit to behind it on turn 5 or so, leaving them out of LOS of most of the board and scoring an objective. :)

Firestorm Redoubts are actually really good for this too. Not to mention that exorcists get cover behind them and can fire over. :)

Interesting. Although I do not see myself getting it, it's a good 200 point!

Still, good to know about the buildings and deployment tactics.

I love the FSR. It's a great fort. :)

It looks really cool, the fact that 6 can shoot out and yet still have an AV14 protective building is rock solid. Do you take the TL-QG? The Punisher Gatling Cannon (although no AP) looks deadly if you had two on there.
