Post by Gaijin18 »

Did cavalry change any?

Whom exactly can and cant summon demons,
anyone want a kitten? evil to the core, that likes nibbling on fingers?

any general boosts to foot sloggers?

Cavalry didn't change, except you need to call jinx before your opponent shoots and you get a 4+ cover save, but ahve to snap shoot next turn. This goes for all things that use jink (skimmer, jetbikes, etc)

Anyone who can take the Malefic Deamon power can summon deamons, however perils is ANY doubles, except for deamons of chaos whop only perils on a 6.

No I don't want a kitten, I already have a cat that is evil to the core and likes to bite hands and feet.

Charging through difficult terrain is only -2 now
Night fight is stealth for everyone, no range restriction

Nothing really applies to foot sloggers, but there are small changes here or there

Oh ya and a whole new phase has been added to the game ;)
Positive feedback I have left for but have not received any in return: Stephen, oldgamer56

it's realy 6.5 plus psyker phase. It actually takes alot of the faq and put it in the book. this is actually the best written set of rules GW has relased. I'm not talking about content, what got changed and why; but how the rules are actaully written. Less guess work and finally references with page numbers.

I believe that's a mis-quote and he meant flyers.

Calvary got changed to having hammer of wrath(I believe) and that is about it for the differences on that regard.

I think it is really hard to sum things up as bonus or reductions to foot sloggers as even though people call it 6.5 the game is going to be played completely differently.

I'll agree that it's the most concisely written rules I've seen since I've been playing. they're not perfectly clear in every aspect, but I have been playing since the end of 3e (almost 4th), and they're the clearest I've seen.

I think what this situation needs is some imagination.

I meant bikes and skimmers, jink has changed for them

I agree with MM, they are the clearest GW rules I've seen yet.
