Anyone read all of Dark Tower?

Post by kturock »

I just finished listening to the ENTIRE series. Usually I only listen to 1 book then switch series, unless there's a new book and I need to refresh my memory. Like when a new Dresden Files comes out.
I accidentally copied all 7 books. Since it too half the night, I wasn't about to delete them and do it again, book by book.
Anyway. Just heard the end and, wow, really that's how it ends or am I missing the last part?

The last I heard was Roland, Oi and the mute falling asleep and Mordred heading down towards them.
Is that it?

The local library doesn't have a copy. I stopped in to read/check the last page.
Heh, I was called a Grognard. ;-)

yep, it starts all over. there is one minor exception that shows the timeline can change but it does start all over.
*notes about trading with me…
I do not like drawn out deals. Id like to have a deal signed and complete within 48 hours.
I abide by the unwritten rules… lower rating ships first pays first.
I always provide delivery confirmation and expect the same.
All deals are US only.

I was so mad at the end of that series... Several years later looking back though, I just can't imagine it ending any other way.
If I forget to post a reference for you, please let me know!
If you are not going to post a reference for me, please explain why, maybe I can fix it!

Start over? Modred goes down to eat/kill Roland & the mute and presumably OI. That's it?
How does that start over? Am I missing something?

I forsaw several. They all die in a fight. The mute sketches and then erases Mordred after/while he kills Roland & Oi. The Red king stranded with the gun close at handbut not reachable. Maybe even wounded by the gun or Mordred or even killing himself with it again.
It just looked to me that SK got tired of it and ended it. I mean the entire letters left around bit and the poem written out? Really, nothing like getting lasy there.
