Wow, Ad Mech construct! Those a re really cool. I always wondered what the various Ad Mech troops might look like. I'd love to see some Skitari. Are there tules for these in the Horus Heresy FW book???

"arghhhh!" last thing my wallet said before running dry....

really nice models, reminds me of the old Robot. The way it was presented by FW at some seminars is that each HH books will have new Ad Mech units until there are enough models to pull out an army...

That is just about the worst news ever... We will have to have an entire series of books to play 1 army!

Bad news for consumers, but great news for "The Hobby"
Always remember that your stuff is nearly worthless junk. The other person's items are highly valuable collectibles.

If I owe you a reference, please remind me.

I don't expect people to wait forever for an answer, and expect the same courtesy.

remember that the Codex Astartes is not written yet, so all Legion armies are different to a certain extend. Of course they are still marines armies but a Imperial Fists legion is not the same as an Alpha Legion, in terms of army building and play style

If FW develops more "allies" type force like Ad-Mech, Custodians, Geno-Chiliades, Imperial Army...etc, also Orks, Eldars, Corsairs, Dark Eldars and Tyranids with a tweak are also still viable against a Legion army

Ya, I get that all the different marines will have their own rules, but if I wanted to play an Ad-Mech army and I had to reference a different book for each unit, that would kind of suck... Or are they just going to be allies? I have not read the new book and haven't really followed the HH stuff beyond what you have mentioned here on B-town, so perhaps I misunderstood your statement?

So the first book contains the Ordo Reductor army list, not much units but enough to build an allies force.

-1 Character
-the Thallax Cohort
-Mechanicum Land Raider (way different that the SM version)
-Avenger Strike Fighters
-Warhounds
-Reavers

so without any upgrades and just by taking 2 units of 5 Thallax, 1 land raider, 1 avenger and the character, you already got 800 pts.

I predict that FW is keeping Ad Mech models in stock and then we might have the chance to get the Knights as they do the Batlle of Mars book.

i'm sure 100% if it is cannon but i think that the organisation of the Ad Mech is not very different in the 40k settings.

Now having Ad Mech going mainstream, i don't think so as customer base form GW does differ from FW
