Help me identify!

Post by mininewbie »

Hello Bartertown, My name is Seth and I recently acquired a large number of minis and I am encountering some difficulty in identifying what I have. I was after some reaper models for D&D play and wound up with almost an entire car-full of minis and games. If anyone recognizes any of the pieces and their origin I would be very appreciative for that information. I will start off slowly, it could potentially take me days to post everything at once. Any advice on how I can better assist with identification on my end is also appreciated.

Here's the first set.

Thanks for the help on identifying those miniatures!
I have a few more here I am having trouble identifying. (sorry about any low picture quality have to hole up and snap pictures fast with a toddler running around.)

1. Number the photos.
2. Make sure they are all right-side up.

The group of Knights are 5th Edition Bretonnian Knights of the Realm, available most commonly in the Core Box.

The character looks like a Knight Errant Champion.

In the 2nd photo, the knights with the funny helms (dragon, castle, lady) were the old WHFB Brettonians that came in 5th edition box set.

Awesome, I wasn't too sure if these were all a set as they were in the same box or two different sets. Any idea on the other?

The other what?

Pics 1 and 3 look like the same model.

The metal models in amongst the KotR are Champions, Musicians, and Standards.

Thanks for the help on those first figs. I didn't see a point in starting a new topic for the same reason so I simply edited some more pictures in. Thanks for the help.

Pretty sure the die in pic 14 is from Heroquest. A lot of those minis look like titans from epic 40k...

Ok. Before I list what I think you have Im no GW employee and I only play 40k.

Heres wha I think you have:

4 and 4a OOP Skaven Doom wheel metal

5 and 5a I dont know what the cnnon is but those are fule cans from the old RINO set on it

6 GW EPIC items IG Banblade variant and a SQUAT monster tank

9 ork killer kan EPIC Titan and mole

10 OOP Eldar wraith lord and war walker

11 EPIC Chaos Titans

12 EPIC Reaver Titans

13 EPIC Warhound and Knight

14 White dice are warhammer artillery dice

Many of the models you have are OOP (out of print). They are still good in games however.
In an act of kindness and respect, please respond to PMs one way or the other with in a timely manner.
Im sorry but I do not ship outside the US.

No.. there are 2 white dice (Artillery dice from WHFB, and Scatter dice from both WHFB and 40k (the one with the crosshairs)), and a red Sustained Fire die from 2nd and 3rd ed 40k, or Advance Space Crusade. (lightning bolt was a Jam)
2+2=5 for sufficiently large values of 2.

If you don't have your Location listed in your User Control Panel, why not take a second and update it? It will let your trading partners know where you are from the beginning.

I use the Unofficial Porkuslime Trading Guidelines - if you have way less refs.. you ship first.

Folks I am awaiting a ref from.. Zack

I believe those are the dice in pic '14a', pic 14 is definitely from heroquest.
