Help IDing GW Paint set in aluminum case

I received this item in a purchase this week and I cannot find it by googling it exactly so I believe it is out of print. The closest thing I can come across is the Games Workshop Citadel Mega Paint Set. The set appears at quick count 65 diferent paints and inks, 1 ardcoat,5 mixing pots, glue and 2 bags of flock, scatter and 7 Games Workshop paint brushes. The others I do not believe came with the kit. They are Reaper Kolinsky, Reaper Pro, and a Floquil brush. Roughly how old is this and roughly do you have an idea of what it is worth. I do not paint with Games Worshop but the case is cool so I could just sell the paints inside it.

I'm far from being an expert on the subject matter, but the pot style is two generations ago if my memory serves correctly.

I used GW paints in those pots when I first start buying and painting Flames of War minis, which was circa 2002 or so. I don't believe that set was made after 2006 or so, but like I said, not an expert, just my recollection.

Thanks for the info. The rest of the items I bought from him appeared to just be 4-6 years old so I did not think it was say 10 years old and I have opened some of the paints and they may need more water but not dried out and the inks appear fine.

I was just talking about your pictures with my roommate and he says they stop using those bottles in 2010, but he doesn't remember the case past 2009, so that might be a more accurate picture; something in the 08-09 range.

Don't use water. Use an acrylic paint thinner.

Actually the best is to use cheap vodka. Thins and rehydrates the paints, while not effecting the pigment consistency. Also non toxic for those of us brush lickers.
