Help posting photos

Okay so I have tried finding instructions or a post on how to post images, but no luck. Can anyone just let me know quickly how to do this.

Two methods:

1) Post to Photobucket or other hosting service and use the [img] links.

2) Open a new post. Click the "Upload Attachment" tab below the message box, browse to the file & choose it. Then, click "add the file." Once it's added, click the "Place inline" button.
I followed those instructions and uploaded a pic from my vacation to Alaska last year:

Thank you for the help and awesome picture. That bald eagle looks like it is in a lot better shape than the ones we have around here that are half frozen at the moment. I will let get back as to my progress in posting.

Thanks for the help, piece of cake once I saw that upload attachment down there.

The trick is to remember the limits. There's, I think, a 1.1MB limit to the file size per pic for uploaded pics.

I always try to shrink the images down when posting on forums, so that part wasn't a problem. I just totally missed the upload attachment tab down there. I think I have had too much coffee and my mind is going around like a gnat.

Hi all. If one of the admins could write up a brief, bullet-point summary of the rules governing images in threads and PMs I would be very grateful. Perhaps even grateful enough to pass on a little something from my bits box.....
