Chaos drop pods

I just read the original FW/IA rules for dp & sc. if they make the the dc a flyer, it'll be what tht original rules for it & dp were.

They were placed on the table arriving from reserve. Then next turn it moved up to 36". Then you rolled scatter dice. and that's where it ended up. D6" devation.

I've seen 2 sets of stats for dps' 1st had less marines then the other and didn't allow for dreads to be carried.

also, it seems the unmanned deathpod has disappeared.

This whole thing about the new rules and now the new army box set plus new chaos codex is going to be a decideing factor for me. I am 44 years of age and have been collecting

building and playing 40K since Rogue Trader years. Me and some of my closest friends feel we are part of what helped make GW what it is today. I alone have built, played, sold and

built more armies then I can remember. I was one of the original Pro painters here and localy. I currently own 4 marine armies . 3 chaos marine armies, 1 gaurd army, 1 ork army,

and 1 fantasy deamon army, PLus I have 3 unbuilt Marine armies, 3 unbuilt chaos marine armies, 1 unbuilt witch hunter army. Plus 1 unbuilt vampire army and 1 unbuilt chaos

marauder army. Plus epic, manowar, necrmunda, Mordehiem, blood bowl, etc etc. But as you can see I am a huge CHAOS Marine player. (NIGHTLORDS!!!) But for the life of

me I still dont understand GW game mindset. Muchless the way they set up the rules or the background set up. Its in all the story lines about how Imperial armies are defending

an entire planet from either a chaos, orc, eldar or whom ever invasion from outer space. But yet the only army with the abilty to drop troops from space are the Imperial

MARINES. If GW releases another abortion of a codex for chaos like the last one it may be my Swan Song to GW all together.Im sick and tired of GW not following there own back

ground and fluff to there own games. And the constant rewriting of the 40k universe history. Much less the constant nerfing/ dumbing down of rules just because little Timmy in 8th

grade cant understand why the rules dictate policy. AS if little Timmy can actually afford a 75.00 landraider model and he still needs another 1300.00(models,paints,glue,books etc

etc) just to finish a tourny sized army. Not to mention the level he has to build and paint to be compete at a level to win something.

So GW Im really pulling for you on these newer rules and a new Chaos Codex.

Otherwise instead of a room full of GW models and games, Me, Bartertown, and eBay will help put a new Dodge Challenger in my garage.
