Okay, I'm a sucker for templates. I've got more sets of templates than I know what to do with. When I got out of 40k a few years back, I sold everything except my Apocalypse templates and dice. So when the new templates came out with the new edition (and since I was getting back into 40k), of course I had to get a set. And I'm glad I did. These things are sexy sleek. I am concerned about how sturdy the lightning bits on the inside will be with a lot of use, but man these things are sweet.
But, if you don't plan to buy them, no worries. The interior of the template is the same size as the templates we know from 3rd-5th editions.

Re: New 40k templates
Any word on how to use these yet?
We haven't been able to find any guidance.
Logic seems to be that you hold it so the INSIDE of the template's over the base and wound anything within the INSIDE of the base... but there are people who insist that you should use the WHOLE template.

I had a 5e tourney today. I've been avoiding 6e because I know it would screw me up.kturock wrote:umm it says either on them or in the rules, to use the inside of the template.
