So because of my stupidity and thinking that Star Wars pocket models were actually real hard/soft plastic models I traded a bunch of FOW for them, and the trader does want them back, can't blame him. Now here is the kicker I have about 400 pieces plastic card stock of starships that I have to put together with no instruction guides. What should I do? Go on line and try to find each one! What feed back should I leave him?

“A picture is worth a thousand words” So take a look in my Photobucket library to see all that I am trading or selling. Check the Game Folder that you play and then see the Sub-Folders for specific Armies.

If he delivered what he said he had, you should leave him positive feedback. Don't blame someone else for your mistake.

LOL! Yes, leave him positive feedback. Go here for the building instructions: http://swpocketmodels.com/howtobuild.php

No brainer: Postive. He delivered what he said he would.
Just call it a lesson learned (probably an expensive one) and move on.

Is there a market on feebay for them? You could always try to recoup your losses that way.

Also, nice link, IH.

Always ask for pics, or confirmation of NiB/NoS is exactly what you want or expect.

I've been trading for SG models. 1 of their games, Uncharted Seas has 2 sculpts of most of their models. The old starters have different ships than the new ones.

I might have sounded like I have OCD, but I've asked for pics, and confirmed multiple times that it is an old or a new sculpt. Especially since a couple sites are discounting the old sculpts.
So far all of my trading partners have understood.

ALso, before I finalize a trade I always restate EVERYTHING.

"You're trading me 4 NiB 'this style model', old sculpt.

I'm trading you 6 of these spray primed white 'this type of model'.

Too many people presume what they're saying is the same as what I'm saying.
Pictures or links to models on a web site are nice, but make sure both of you understand exactly what you're each saying.
Heh, I was called a Grognard. ;-)

I'm having a very similar problem right now. I just received in the mail a PS3 game in a cracked case with no cover and book. I guess I specifically never asked for the cover and book, but rather just figured it's a relatively recent game so they would be there.

I guess I should follow the above advice? Leave positive feedback and call it a learning experience.
I am happy to send first if your rating and references warrant that.

On the video game, I am of a different mind. Not saying damaged case and missing book would be like saying AOBR but the box being torn and missing a component inside but not saying anything. If they didn't say it, I don't think they met rule 4A.

Not at all.

It's in the site rules that you must clearly state what you're trading. As the case and manual are integral parts of the new game, your trade partner is expected to have provided them, unless you were advised otherwise.

The rules are on your side in this one.
