How long?

I have recently done a trade with a member and I am a little worried. I don't know if this is the right place for advice but here we go. He acknowledged recieving my minis a week and a half a ago. I shipped it with confirmation and have the documentation. I said he would send them out but then dropped off the face of the earth. I sent him all my Mercs for his pigs. he has a 28 for a rating and actually has posted a concern on the deadbeats forum. He seemed legit.

How long should I wait before posting negatively on the bad trader forum? It has been a week and a half of no contact. I don't want to deface him but I am worried.

Unfortunately I only have his address... I learned my lesson!

When is the last time he logged into the forum? Has he checked any PMs you've sent him? You should probably get a bad trader report ready, but not post it yet. Talk to one of the moderators, they usually have the best advice. You could try to track him down on facebook, or other boards and send him messages. I guess I'm trying to say don't wait! Be proactive now.

Thanks for the response and the advice. He has not checked my PM's. His last post was about the trade in progress. I will PM a mod. I have so many good trades. It sucks to have one that might be bad. I am still hoping for a PM from him.

Send his address and User ID to an Admin. If we've got any idea, based on that, we'll give it to you.
Depending on how long it's been, you may be looking at a BTR.

Hey Craneman - for the sake of the Btown community - what happened with this? Was he just away from his PC and now everything is cool, or did he screw you, or what?

We all - the community - gain a lot from posts like this, so we would like to know what happened!
