Looking for good price guide for Magic Cards

Post by Sevric »

I've got quite a few Magic the Gathering cards from Unlimited to Homelands and really have no idea how to value them for trading. Does anyone have any suggestions for an accurate online price guide I can use to get started? Or does everyone still use Scrye magazine? (If it still exists)

Ebay completed auctions. That can, I think, give you the best idea of what your cards are likely to fetch.

I think what this situation needs is some imagination.

tcgplayer.com is a good place to figure out prices as they give a high, low, and avg sell price

TCGPlayer is probably your best option. It compares and links prices to give you the best averages.

A bit of warning though, somethimes the high price picks up things with no value set ($9999), or set of 4 for the high price. So the high price and average price posted will be wrong.

For the most part common sense dictates the rest.
