It happensI've been out of the hobby for years, during the time I played I had a space marines army, an ogre kingdoms army and bits from elves, orks, nids, chaos, empire, beasts of chaos and britannia. It's a mix of plastic and pewter minis, some painted, some primed and some just cut off the sprue. It's a ton of stuff but I don't know where to start as far as pricing it all. Should I actually attempt to sift through the rubble and sell it off in pieces or try and sell off the whole thing at once? I've included a few pictures as well.

can anyone point me in the right direction with all this? Thanks a lot.
I'm sure it gets asked a lot

Break it up into "like" groupings. Try to break each army down into units, if possible. Sell it off like that.
The smaller your lots, the more likely you are to get rid of 'em.

If you just want to get shot of it and done.. and don't care about maximizing value.. dump it into a bunch of ziplock bags and see if they fit in a US Fixed Rate box.. and then ask for a flat fee for the lot. I would make an offer on such a bag and job lot.. but it would be a lot less than if they were separated by race at the least..
Also.. where are you at? If you are overseas or unwilling to mail overseas, that changes things a bit..
PS.. put your location in the User Control Panel.. it will help!

2+2=5 for sufficiently large values of 2.
If you don't have your Location listed in your User Control Panel, why not take a second and update it? It will let your trading partners know where you are from the beginning.
I use the Unofficial Porkuslime Trading Guidelines - if you have way less refs.. you ship first.

Re: I'm sure it gets asked a lot
Some people only wnat the metal or the plastic, depending on how old the models are.
My suggestions is to breaking them down by: Game, then race, then metal/plastic.
IE:
40K:
Orks:
list specific plastic models.
list specific metal models.
Nids:
List specific plastic models.
List specific metal models.
Chaos:
List specific plastic models.
List specific metal models.
List condition of all models. Painted [& color], primed [& color], nib, nos, built unpainted/unprimed.
Approximate number of bits for each race and type; metal/plastic, and condition, painted/primed, nos, loose, glued but removed.
And have pix available of anything not nos, nib, bare plastic/metal.
I also suggest stripping what you can, unless the paint jobs match canon and are table top or better; or you're willing to take less for them.
If youdon't want to do all this work, then count and give a quick breakdown of each race and batch them at about 20-30% of current retail.

It's going to take awhile because as you saw, it's a LOT of stuff but I'll probably sit down in the next few day and start parting stuff out.
