Bartertown was created in 1996. So, those who can trace their memberships back that far are the old timers.

That must be BB era or just post, maybe not I can remember.

I started networking in 90’ as a civilian and mid 80’ military.

9/5/96 if you check by my E-mail address Dakkar98@aol.com.
It was actually before then but I think a server change or board update occured and all references prior to 9/5/96 were changed to 9/5/96.
Otherwise I was very busy indeed to get 78 reference on one day.

i got 9/5/96 also.
but under my avatar it shows more recently. 2005, when I rejoined again.

geez... the site is almost old enough to drive..
2+2=5 for sufficiently large values of 2.

If you don't have your Location listed in your User Control Panel, why not take a second and update it? It will let your trading partners know where you are from the beginning.

I use the Unofficial Porkuslime Trading Guidelines - if you have way less refs.. you ship first.

Sadly, Bartertown only has one parent.
There are a bunch of Aunts & Uncles around to help guide it into maturity, but it's a one-parent household.


...and the things you lot do with her has had that parent worried for YEARS already!
