Skink question

Post by porkuslime »

Are shortbows still legal for Skinks to use? They came with them in the plastic monopose guys from the 4th ed starter, but I don't know if they are still valid. (I just got 30 in a trade.. so I want to know if they have ANY value)
2+2=5 for sufficiently large values of 2.

If you don't have your Location listed in your User Control Panel, why not take a second and update it? It will let your trading partners know where you are from the beginning.

I use the Unofficial Porkuslime Trading Guidelines - if you have way less refs.. you ship first.

Folks I am awaiting a ref from.. Zack

Nope, you get skinks with hand weapons, javelins, and blow pipes.

I have taken quite a few and chopped the bow off and replaced it with the blowpipe or javelin. Works well enough!

Presumably you could use them as either javelins or blowpipes, just be consistent and inform your opponent. I have two regiments of these from the old days and wouldn't change them, I think they looked better with bows. But I'm partial to the old minis. There is an alternative army list in the back of their army book for Lizardmen from "The Southlands" which still includes regiments of skinks with shortbows though!
