I successfully logged in as him and sent a PM.

Either it's going to be WHAT you're trying to do, or an issue on your PC, I think.

Okay so I can send PM's as long as I type the person who I wan to recieve the message I cannot use the PM button under peoples name or the reply button

Not true. I sent the one to me by just hitting the "reply" button.

How about this? Walk me through, step-by-step, the process you're using to send a message each way (manually typing, PM from a thread and using the reply button).
Maybe you're just doing something wrong.

Okay so I have found the issue it turns out that I have been typing my message into the box where you are suppose to type more names of people to add to the message I am really sorry about this
