Thinking about getting into Dystopian Wars

Post by Norseman »

Anyone play Dystopian Wars?

Anyone know anything about the factions and how they play?

I am new to the game. I just ordered the rulebook, and am thinking about a faction choice. I am leaving to Germany or Japan because of the models, and because I always like playing the bad guys. However I want the play style to match me as well. I made the mistake of choosing Khador when I first started warmachine. Not that Khador are bad, but I like a little more trickery and movement advantage is nice.

Also I here it is Air Sea and Land... Is it all played together as one game?

Beautiful models but the scale really bugs me. I hate having massive models on the table. I feel like I need to be playing on the floor to have enough room to manuever.

Never played this system but have owned and sold Firestorm Armada.

Good day,

I have the rules but haven't gotten any models (so haven't played yet).

It includes rules for land, sea, & air - you can play them seperatly or use all three elements at the same time.

Thank you,

If you don't have your Location listed in your User Control Panel, why not take a second and update it? It will let your trading partners know where you are from the beginning.
