Nice. Come to a new site, ask people for help and immediately insult not only the most active poster but also one of the primary Moderators.warderbrad wrote:Sorry that was the best my phone's camera could do. thanks for WTFing me though your a real winner for that.
You don't know me well enough to presume intent (note the "poem" in my sig line). "WTF" is not an insult, in and of itself. It's, simply, an exclamation. If I'd said, "Dude!" would you have thanked me for "Dude-ing" you and used such a snarky comment to insult me?warderbrad wrote:Sorry that was the best my phone's camera could do. thanks for WTFing me though your a real winner for that.
Umm, actually, that would be Administrator. Mods have dark green User ID's.MEDEVL wrote:Nice. Come to a new site, ask people for help and immediately insult not only the most active poster but also one of the primary Moderators.
I can only respond to that with this:warderbrad wrote:I returned the sentiment that his comment was given. His comment did not require the "WTF" it would have accomplished what it seemed to want without it. If it is ok to be insulting by saying that to me then it is ok for me to be just as dismissing with my response.
You've really got to lighten up, man. If I was trying to insult you, I'd have done a Hell of a lot more than just use those 3 letters. Remember; just because you felt insulted, does not mean I insulted you. The latter generates from me, but the former is from you.Forsaken Poptart wrote:If you get offended by something as simple as that, perhaps the internet is not for you.
Keep in mind... It wasn't actually cussing.warderbrad wrote:And if I mistook the meaning of the exclamation I am sorry, it seems like people don't always take things the way they were intended. In answer to an above comment, if the WTF had been Dude I would not have responded to it the same way because no cursing was done. To me using WTF was the same as yelling that in my face (it is all in caps after all, the internet universal sign for yelling).
