Shadowsword question
Hey all,
Around the time the Shadowsword model was released there were a couple Apoc formations in a white dwarf that used them. Does anyone know which issue that was and/or what the rules basically were?
Thanks,
Mark!

Re: Shadowsword question
Nope, first place I looked. I find it kind of funny that the model came out about a year ago and those rules have yet to be posted.
Thank you,
Mark!

Re: Shadowsword question
I think what he is looking for is something like "Titan Hunters formation" or some-such, where you have 3 Shadowswords that get bonuses and cost extra formation points. I recall seeing it ages ago, but cannot remember where. I will look around when I can.

Re: Shadowsword question
Alrighty, I found a little something while searching about. There was not a lot of super in depth information, but I get the feeling GW gets after people who post stat lines (fairly new to the 40k experience myself).
Shadowsword Domination Force
1 Shadowsword, with Leman Russ tanks, Sentinels, and maybe other support vehicles (conflicting posts, so unsure). Basically, if the Shadowsword gets hit, it can pass off the damage to a tank. If a tank gets hit, it can pass off to a sentinel.
Iron Saint
It has 5 special crewmen and costs 850 points. Each crewman gives the vehicle a special ability or strategic asset which is lost when he is killed. Each time the tank would lose a structure point, roll a D6, on a 6 one of the special crew is killed instead of losing the structure point.
At least with the names, you may be able to track down some better info. I think the White Dwarf in question came out March/April of '09. Good luck.

Re: Shadowsword question
Aurak_Merc that was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you VERY much. I want to run a domination force.
GPfredette, Thank you very much for taking the time to try and help me with my malformed questions.
Thanks again,
Mark!

Re: Shadowsword question
No problem at all. Big tanks are definitely worth the time, hehe.
