The GK arms have a higher surface area for super glue than a lot of other metal arms/ metal models with tge whole shoulder pad thing. But some things like warmachine warjack arms on a lancer or charger really don't and require a pin or something beyond just a glue layer.

After building as much warmachine/ hrds as I have I just pin anything that even looks a pin could fit weather it needs it or not because eventually it will drop and I'll need that extra strength.

The greenstuff / super glue mix helps and can be used were a pin doesnot work.

Also u can use something that I think is called "J B Weld" or something.

JB Weld would be overkill. I believe PP makes it mandatory that you pin metal warjacks. :-P

If your superglue is old, it loses a lot of it's sticking power.

Normally superglue is fine for man sized models, and superglue+pinning for bigger stuff.

If you really need strength use a 2 part epoxy like Araldite, and that will hold it just fine. I've built a full metal thunderhawk with that (anyone that's built the original LE metal kit knows it's a weak design that wants to constantly break it's own back) and it's still holding just fine - I can (gently!) lift the whole model by the nose or a wing... (it weighs 4kg!)
