Memoir '44 /Tide of Iron- any good?

Memoir '44 /Tide of Iron- any good?

Two pretty similar games. Tide of Iron is pricier, but Memoir '44 has a bunch of expansions.

Which is better?
How complicated are the rules?

Any advice from someone who actually has these games or played them would be great.
