Project: Obliterator Cult

Post by YoungWolf777 »

This project has been almost 3 months in the making. Waaaay longer than I thought it would take when I took it on. You can read the entire saga from beginning to end here: Project: Obliterator Cult.

Wow nice.

I wish if fw would do a cast of them!
Lowest rating ships first even from payments

Well... not BLOCKED so much as not allowed.
It's a block that I can choose to bypass but, if I do and you have so much as an f-bomb that comes back to them, it'll hit me in the face. LOL

So, for all intents and purposes... Yeah. Blocked.

The entire article is "G" rated. No cuss words, nudity, etc. in sight.

My entire site would barely earn a "PG" rating. Heck, my mom reads it. :-P

Yeah, I think we might have to call a language infraction on you. We have to protect those younglings.
LOOK OUT FOR THAT HAMMER!!!!!!

1. Less refs you'll probably have to ship first,
2. Please pm me even if a simple no. I will always try to do the same for you
3. PLEASE tell me what edition your warhammer stuff is! If you say you have a model and don't specify people assume you mean a seven edition. Not a worthless fourth edition.

A G-rated motion picture contains nothing in theme, language, nudity, sex, violence or other matters that, in the view of the Rating Board, would offend parents whose younger children view the motion picture. The G rating is not a “certificate of approval,” nor does it signify a “children’s” motion picture. Some snippets of language may go beyond polite conversation but they are common everyday expressions. No stronger words are present in G-rated motion pictures. Depictions of violence are minimal. No nudity, sex scenes or drug use are present in the motion picture.

Well I guess we'll let you go then. But then again those guys look kinda scary, maybe we could get you on disturbing images. :-D

Guilty as charged on that score. They could have been MUCH worse. The Nurgle Demon Prince for example...

Watch some of the making of Warhammer Online vids. They had problems even discussing the different chaos gods and why they had to be excluded. Slannesh and the entire hermafidite [sp]? aspect of all the deamons. Too much blood and gore for Khorne. Too much grossness for Nurgle. That only left Tzeentch available as playable.

I find some of the artwork for those army's hysterical. I mean, I can understand a few guys carrying skulls from the enemy but what you find in the rulebook and/or army book is kinda excessive. With how much bloodshed and gore their is in the warhammer and 40k world it's surprising that there's anyone alive, and if they gave ratings for boardgames I wonder what the Warhammer rating would look like(kinda like GTA4 I think).

Yeah you just pointed out something I didn't think of: pornography, and X-rating.
Well graphicness. All the Slannesh deamons have 1 breast exposed. But also, I don't know if true any longer, some scenes in movies that have excessive violence used to get an X rating. I think one of 'the Dead', like 'Dawn of' or 'Return of' or such got it. Not just the excessive gote from killing and fighting; but even the 'good guys' have tubes shoved in their faces.
Look at some of the old 'John Blanche" era art. We didn't know if they were Tech-priests or cultists. [a funny double meaning, eh.]

And yet no where on any of the books are there any warnings about extreme graphic art, descriptions, situations or anything.

Carrying skulls, ears, noses, skalps, teeth, fingers, claws; both human and animal; has been both a part of a right of manhood to a keeping score on personal kills. Pretty much every race has done it sometime in their history; sometimes not to distant history. [remember, yesterday is history.]

You might check some of the Inca and Aztec histories for stacks of skulls. Killing each other by the 10,000 's and stacking their skulls would leave quit a pile.
[At a gaming convention, I played a beta of a pen and paper game back in the 80's, with the designer of a game set in that time period. Each squad was like 10,000 men. Talk about mass-battle rules and movements of blocks of men. He was a history major and that was his period. He wanted to create a game based on those battles in the seas of grass. Interesting but boring. No minis, just a sheets of paper folded with numbers on them. Actually I think I even sold the 'rulebook' on ebay a couple years back.]
