Star Wars: Force Unleashed

Post by kturock »

I just saw this is out at best buy.
There are 2 editions for all platforms.
How does the game play? Is it worth it to buy the ulitmate edition with the 2-3 extra advntures/expansions?

I have a pc and a ps2. is there much of a difference between the platform and pc version?
Heh, I was called a Grognard. ;-)

I played the original version on the xbox 360. It was a fun game, but was pretty short. I haven't played the new version yet, but if it adds length to the game, that could only be for the better. All in all, I enjoyed it, but I wish I had rented it instead of bought it.

I liked it. I've been told that the gameplay is similar to God of War. So if you've played that, then you'll like it.

If you've got a good set-up for your PC, I'd recommend the PC version. PS2 didn't have all the goodies that XBOX and PS3 had. Not to mention that PC based games usually have better stuff.

After some research, the PC game has all the content from the PS2, Xbox, Wii, and PS3. To include all the downloadable content for the PS3 and Xbox and the dueling mode from the Wii. So yeah, I say PC would be the best buy.

However, if Lucasarts stays true to form, then the game may be moddable (ala KoTOR 1 & 2, Jedi Acadamy series).

What I've found, between reading pc gamer and the sony game magazine, is that games play best on they primary form.
PC games play best on pc's and port poorly to platforms; and vice-versa.

Tomorrow i'll see if any of the local game spots have any for trade. I got an unused dancing with the stars and almot unused guit and guitar hero for my ps2.

Thanks for the help all.

The thing is, though, that Force Unleashed was released for several different platforms. With different content for each one. The Ultimate Sith Edition isn't available on the PS2.
