Doll House Bird Cages

Post by HarlequinZero »

Ok, this is a weird question, but does anyone know where I could find doll house bird cages that are pretty small? (Basically in line with 30mm miniatures or a bit larger.) I have no idea what scale doll houses run so I don't know what to compare against. I'm looking for about a dozen of these for a diorama. I'd prefer they be the standard dome shaped cages with or without floor stands.

Thanks Eric,

But I still have one more question. A lot of these things say 1" scale. What exactly does that mean? The cages are 1"? The scale of doll house they work on is 1"? If that's a reference to a general scale what does that scale translate into in terms of miniatures? 28mm? 52mm? Anyone have a daughter who likes doll houses that knows what the scale is compared to say a Space Marine?

Sorry. can't help you on "scale." I just google-fu'ed it.
I don't actually KNOW anything about doll-houses.

...nothing you'd ever get me to admit, anyway. lol

It's been a while since I helped my granma, but I believe that means 1 inch to 1 foot, so about 6 inch action figure scale.

Dang, those cages are going to be positively huge. I'll have to see if there's a small scale of doll house or something.

Honestly you might be better off looking for N-scale model railroad stuff.
