If you can't get any of these things working(which I highly doubt), you can try to simply shape the models into how you wish them to be... They may look cruddy, but it will still work.

By the way, does anyone know how to remove Testor's Plastic Cement? Sorry for jacking the topic.

I haven't worked with that stuff in like 10 years or more, so i don't know. Have you tried simple green? It probably wont remove it, but should soften it enough to seperate the parts.

Do not try to bend the model; that's impossible. Instead only try to realize the truth: There is no model!
Then you'll see, that it is not the model that bends, it is only yourself.

Testor's bonds plastic together. So not much help there in removing it.

Hmmmm, that brings up another possibility I hadn't considered. If I attempt to put myself into the same pose as that which the model currently has, become one with the model, and then move my arm to the different position desired, then maybe the model's arm will move to that new position. But then there is the horrible alternate possibility. That in becoming one withthe model I too might be locked into that position! Do I dare enter the matrix and try?

Blue pill or the red pill?

Also, how can M300M Mercury Adhesives best be applied/removed? I use the medium viscosity one... You know, supposedly best glue on the market, with cyanoacrylate.

It bonds like any other type of superglue. So should unbond like any other type of superglue. See previous posts on methods of how to unbond superglue.

Another suggestion with regard to the OP, which I don't think anyone has brought up:

If the models are metal and you're sure that it's super glue, pop them in the freezer for a few hours (over night, for example). The water that is in the super glue will freeze and expand, making the super glue very brittle. After that, you can easily break apart to bonded pieces. I've done this a few times, without any damage to the models.

Just remember that if you do this, any pieces on the model that have been super-glued will be brittle, so you're better off regluing the whole thing.
Cheap and easy! Hope this helps :P
