I agree that you may need more photos then you think. Too few and you may just end up with a gif file that looks like 12 indvidual pictures in a slideshow. The more photo's the smoother it will appear.

I say just set your camera to as many FPS as possible put your model in the microwave (if you have the kind that spins) and press start! Nothing like working under pressure.

You'd want me to put a metal mini in the microwave?? Don't you think that is a bit dangerous??

A pottery wheel sounds a bit better to me.

Well, hopefully, Ruskin just forgot to use the sarcasm emoticon. LOL

On the other hand... I would like to see the results of a metal model in the microwave.
I think that's how the first Shokk Attack Gun was created!

LOL

Yea, I was only kidding. Its just the first thing with a turntable that I thought of (sadly)

you could probably pick up one of these cheap "lazy susans" for outdoor tables and use that. I still think the microwave idea would be more fun though.

If the microwave is big enough, you could probably rig the camera up INSIDE, so that you don't have to shoot the pictures through the door.
Alternatively, a little duct tape and ingenuity, and you could probably manage to rig it so it stays on with the door open. Just stand in front of the microwave (gotta get REAL close for those macro shots) and you're set... Maybe even get a tripod to stand the camera on.

Photoscape works great and is easy to use. You will need alot of pics to make it seem smooth.. Probably a few per second.

You could always just set up a webcam, a rotating table, then put the mini on it and leave it on at all times.

DO NOT DO ANYTHING I AM SUGGESTING WITH THE MICROWAVE. IT IS A JOKE.
