What do you mean by wrong address? Have you used your "User Control Panel" to see if everything is correct?

Signature isn't working? Are your view options set correctly?

"View your post" isn't working? If you haven't made any posts recently, say last 20 days, then it may not be there. Ad posts have a life span of around 20 days.

Most of these problems should be fixable by accessing your User Control Panel and editing your profile.

I sent you a PM. Let's see if you get it, and if you do, respond so we can make sure you can send also.

If you don't have your Location listed in your User Control Panel, why not take a second and update it? It will let your trading partners know where you are from the beginning.

Hey Ironhide! (Transformers fan! COolness!)

Okay, I did try all that.

Someone switched my email from xcalibur40k@yahoo.com to lightssaber777@yahoo.com which isnt even a valid address (not one of mine at least). And it doesnt give me any option to change it.

When I click on the Private Messages tab its says: You are not authorised to send private messages.
Same with my signature.

When I try to use "View your posts" it says: "Sorry but you are not permitted to use the search system."
And I currently have two current threads.

Why would I not be permitted? Or not authorized? That's weird.

Not sure what's going on. I KNOW I havent broken any rules or anything, and I DEFINITELY didnt change any options to my profile recently, so Im not sure why this stuff isnt working.

Anyway, I'll keep checking this post from time to time since my PMs arent working.
Thanks man!

EDIT:
I also just went to try to my avatar... and that says: "The avatar functionality is currently disabled." :?:

You should be able to change your e-mail address. Go to UCP, Profile tab, Edit account settings. First two lines should say "E-mail" and "Confirm E-mail".

However, I will say that the e-mail option has been quirky on the boards since the last patch update.

Odd question, have you been experiencing random logouts while surfing the boards? Example: Your logged on at one point and then when you go to post something you find you have been logged out.

Hey Ironhide,
I just tried what you said. Here is what happens:

I get the following under Edit Account Settings:

Username: Greatwolf
Email Address: Lightssaber777@yahoo.com

then under that is says:

Current Password

with a box next to it for my to type in.

Below that to buttons that say Reset and Submit. Neither of which actualy do anything. lol

It doesnt display anyplace for me to actually change anything.

As for the other question, I thus far have not been experiencing that.

I hope that helps.

Have you changed browsers? Try clearing your browser cache and relogging in. Or use a different browser. I used Firefox and have no issues, but I know sometimes different browsers will cause a problem.

I'll have to get an admin to look at that. Besides yourself, only an admin can change your account settings. Your account is the only one I have heard of this happening.

Well, so far, nobody's done it on purpose... or done anything that might've accidentally caused it...

You haven't ticked Lin off recently. Have you.

J/K

We should have it resolved for you by this evening.

No, not Lin. Not recently. lol. Ive been absolutely playing by all the rules! :)

But I was afraid maybe someone thought I was envolved with something that I wasnt evolved with.

Hopefully its just a glitch.

Also, Ive been here since like 2004 and never had any problems, so I dont think it's my browser. But who knows. Computers like to suddenly do random stuff when you least expect it. If it does appear to be on my end, let me know what I need to do.

Thanks again guys!

Out of curiousity, were you absent from the site for awhile? If so, how long?

Actually, I was. I mean, not a LONG time. But there was probably a good month or so that I didnt come to btown much because we weve been busy packing and stuff. Plus I was busy selling my GI Joe stuff on another site. I havent been on a lot lately. But now I gotta get rid of all my GW stuff I have collected before our move.

Why?
