ork stompa

does anyone out there have an ork stompa or have fought one.im thinking about pickin one up but not sure if they are wroth it so any feed back would be great. how are they, are they wroth there points. by the way how many point is an ork stompa. how hard are they to kill? as much details as you can

Please, nobody give him as much detail as you CAN.
It's against the rules to violate IP, so if you give him EVERYTHING, you could be setting yourself up for a wrist slap. LOL

There are several different flavors of Stompa. The basic one (which is what the plastic is designed for) is in the Apocalypse book, and you can find all the info you need there (including its special rules). Unfortunately, saying more than that violates GW IP so that is all I can tell you.

We can't discuss point costs of models, stat lines, etc.

We can discuss army lists: (i.e. here is my 2250 Bret list... etc), but when I list that, I don't list out the cost of abilities, stat lines, and what not.

GW protects their IP very very aggressively, including games they haven't published in 15 years, and have no intent to publish again.

Actually, if someone wants to drop the point cost on him, that's fine.
Where it crosses the lin is where you give him enough information that he could play the model in a game without buying the book/codex that it's in.
So, if you wanted to tell him, "It's "x" points for the base model and it comes with "these" weapons. Also, for an extra point cost, you have "these" weapon upgrades available," that's fine.
Just don't give any points cost for the actual weapon upgrades and nothing of the model's stat line (though, stats for the weapon choices would be okay).

I'd give it, but I don't have it handy.

I get so ticked off about the whole GW IP garbage that I was damned and determined that I was going to post the points cost on here but after checking GW's legal pages I just wasn't sure if it was OK or not so I reluctantly logged off this afternoon. Imagine my glee to see MM's post that it's OK to post them. So I hereby am EXTREMELY glad to divulge the following super-secret, heavilly guarded GW secrets...

Regular Stompa costs 600 pts
Bik Mek's Stompa costs 650 pts
Goff Klawstompa costs 450

Now I'm going to log onto CNBC.com and watch GW's stock drop like a stone due to the unimaginable havok I have wrought!!!

Yeah you can list the points cost,but not the special abilities or points breakdown,but you can list total points
