Thats ironic to me. Dakka is the nazi haven in my view while warseer is one of the nicest places ive hung around.

All in all, I have a heavy dislike for dakka. It produces trolls by the thousands... I also do realize that what works for me doesnt work for others as MOST people dont like warseer for the very reasons I dont like Dakka.

WIP, now thats a nice place all around. Small, quiet, but full of some really nice conversions.

As for other forums.. well.. im all over.

Let's refrain from any more forum bashing, please.
You can say which ones you do & don't like, but let's try not to get too descriptive, beyond that.

BTown has a decent "working" relationship with these sites, and we want it to stay that way.

Right now, I spend alot of time at the Wargames Factory forums trying to get them to produce this or that miniature.

Other than that,
Eastern Fringe for Necromunda
Tactical Command for Epic
Da WAAAGH because they have some great Ork conversions and who doesn't love Orks!
I'll check BOLS, Warseer, Dakka, TGN, & TMP only if someone posts a link to something I'm interested in, which is rare.

And I love me some LOLcats

Coolminiornot - so I can rub it in my face with how much I need to improve in painting
warseer - only cause I like the project logs section and have started a couple to keep karl updated on stuff he has me working on for him

conservativeunderground - cause i'm a raging dittohead (don't hold it agains me)

IDK...I tried hanging out on some other 40k-like sights but IMO I personally walk away from them after awhile for the same reason I stopped visiting alot of the local gaming stores.....Nerd Testosterone just really turns me off. (not saying i'm not a little nerdy...I mean I play with little toy soldiers)
but I have been know of pack up after one to many fake missle explosions, the over powering smell of BO, and the sudo-intellectual over critiqueing of my armies because they are not (in their eyes) utilzing the army lists to it's fullest potential.....(read, building an army that fully butchers anything because of slanted rules interpretations)

and yet saying that I find it comforting that there are more then enough people who just want to have a fun well-balanced game out there to play with

Due to another discussion, I want to be fair and clarify the above.

If you do not like ANY SITE that is mentioned (by yourself or others), please feel free to say so... and WHY YOU DON'T, if you want to.
The only thing I'm asking is not to "rag" on another site. We can say that we don't like a site, but we don't have to be mean about it.

I don't like Warseer because I prefer not to be rudely shouted down if my opinion is contrary to the masses.

That statement is TRUE, and the kind of delivery I'm requesting.

I hope that clarifies my message better.

They have a stickied thread of tutorials called "101 compilation". Lots of great stuff in there.

My post count is like 3, because I only post to provide some lost tidbit of knowledge. Like all Orks they can be a rough crowd. They'll krump ya over threadomancy, posting something someone else has posted, double posting, and asking questions that have already been answered within the last 20 years. A good place for looking, but that's about it.
