Did the site change?

Post by john the mac guy »

I have been away from the site for about 8 months and now I'm trying to start using it again. I can't find my trade rating (or anyone's for that matter) anywhere I look. Did trade ratings go away?

Yep. Big changes.

You probably have the old style board up.

You need to go to your User Control Panel above (just below the Board Index tab) and click on it.
Go to Board Preferences and halfway down the Global Settings is a setting for board style.
Change it to prosilver and viola (misspelled on purpose).

Let us know if this helps. Or just hurts your eyes. :-D

I changed the board setting, but I still can't find the trade ratings anywhere, and I tried on multiple browsers. Can you tell me where to find them please, I must be looking in the wrong place.

look on the left of a post, next to the poster's username.. the number in parentheses is their rating.. should be clickable.

2+2=5 for sufficiently large values of 2.

If you don't have your Location listed in your User Control Panel, why not take a second and update it? It will let your trading partners know where you are from the beginning.

I use the Unofficial Porkuslime Trading Guidelines - if you have way less refs.. you ship first.
