Backout?

Post by Norseman »

I am just wondering if this would be considered a back-out.

We had had agreed to a deal. The guy was checking to make sure all the stuff was there. He realized he didn't have one model of a larger deal and then proposed a different model. then before I could agree to the substitution, he pulled the deal and said he was selling the army to a friend. We hadn't said ship the models but the deal was pretty much done.

Would this be worth a Backout thread?

Yeah. It sounds like it.

If you BOTH agreed to the deal, it's a deal.

If he says, "Wait. I don't have a model I said I did. How about this instead?" it's still a deal, but he's adjusting the specifics (which is understandable, in this case). If he, then, decides to cancel the deal without giving you the opportunity to accept or decline... It's a backout.

I think what this situation needs is some imagination.
