Can anyone suggest a good forum for getting conversion and scratchbuilding advise and input?
I basically stick to the Necromunda and Epic forums, so haven't really checked out any of the 40K forums. I know it's a tall order, but I'd really like to avoid any place infested with jack@$$es.
I'm mainly looking for advise on SOB weapon swaps and scratchbuilding buggies, but other questions may crop up as well.
Any help appreciated.

Good questions...maybe Warseer, although I've found that input there is generally just "wow, that's awesome!". Dakka is somewhat hit-or-miss.
If you're doing any Ork stuff, try the Da Waaagh! forums, specifically Da Mek's Garage. They usually have very helpful input and suggestions (though it is limited to Ork stuff. Also, the Ammobunker seems good, though I've never posted.

Trading Guidelines:
1. Lower rating ships first - even if I am purchasing.
2. If you agree to buy something, you have 72hrs. in which to pay. If payment is not received in 72hrs., I will automatically post a Non-Payment/Backout thread.
3. Refs are left upon positive receipt of goods, NEVER beforehand!
4. I accept Paypal & USPS money orders and charge for shipping AT COST. I make no profit from it.
5. I trade NIB/new models at retail.

Work In Progress is by far the best site I've found for this. The people are supportive (but honest) and it has forums for both conversion/model building and painting for every major 40K race. Give them a look!!

I hadn't been to Librarium in a long time. I thought I'd give it a look-see.
I can't get it to go past the main page.
I agree about WIP. One of the friendliest gamer related sites on the net. Even friendlier than Bartertown.

Lower rating? You ship first.
