How do I add Coloring in trade ads

Post by flagg07 »

I've been trading here for a while. In the past, I was able to add color to my ads by clicking "font color" above, giving me the code around my selected words.

Now, when I do that, it gives the code in my ad without changing the color. What am I missing?

If you're not sure what I mean, check out my ad in 40K (shameless plug). I'd prefer my "pending" results be in red so other people know what I'm after/ what I've got.

I'd love to know too because I am anything but a techo geek. It would be nice to add in prices in a different color

select the txt you want to color or change the font size. once it is highlighted choose the color on the drop down

I have this mini for sale for $$$$$

you wont see it actually change color with out clicking the preview or submitting the add...

There's a checkbox right below where you type your message. It's labeled "Disable BBCode in this post". Make sure it is unchecked and the font colour should work.

Also, make sure you aren't highlighting any extra spaces before or after the words.
If I accidentally highlight a word and the space after or before it, I can't get ANY of the PHPBB code to work for me. Spaces BETWEEN words are fine... just extraneous spaces.

I updated my profile to have BBCode always on. Beats having to hit that check box every post.
