Is this trader safe? He sounds awesome over mail and offered me a very good deal, but he only joined on 28th November, and already has 14 refs (from same person). Im confused, should i trade?

BTW: Im not saying hes a bad trader, im just VERY cautious

both joined within 2 days.. of each other... and both gave each other multiple references.. sense NOV28... common.. you got to be kidding me... are they that stupid... even if it is 2 people.. who decided to bump each others records up... which i highly doubt... they will end up with a long walk on a short plank very soon.

If I'm wrong I'll eat my hat... but its a scam... I've already noted Adam and Lin about him/them....

hehe, brink sounds sound. looks like ill be trading nywy...

everything he says is very realistic.. plus its SUCH a good offer :S

About the refs, he says they did trades before, but since they joined have onlt filled in their refs now while they have accounts...

First, if you have a question about a trader, don't put it in the "Good Trader" forum. Use some common sense and put it, maybe, in the "Have QUESTIONS" forum.

Second: Do not be a smartass. You are not funny. We take scammers and potential scammers very seriously.
You, Brinkosanity and Mad_Dog, are sharing an IP address. Specifically, 68.32.134.83 which my Whois informs me is a Comcast IP address located in PA. I note that Mad_dog does not list his location. You both share a similar writing style. That's enough for us to take a hard look at your account. If you want to play the technicality game, I'll throw "both of you" off Bartertown for ITL abuse. That little bit of sequential absurdity is worth a month's suspension and deletion of incorrect references at least. What's my justification? Rule #0.

I expect you two (which I doubt that there're actually two of you, but that's okay) to immediately apologize to the other forum members here for your mockery.

But dont trade references only count for trades that originated here on Bartertown?
