Forgeworld retail order
Does anyone know of a site in the US who stocks or orders FW? I know Neal used to offer this service but it looks like that is no longer the case. I really don't want to order from the UK since I only need a few smaller items and Feebay is out of the question. Any ideas?

Re: Forgeworld retail order
I don't think anybody sells Forgeworld over here in the states anymore. The best thing I have been a part of is the big order that Brian Adair did a ways back when he got a bunch of Bartertowner's together to buy enough to get the free, fast shipping.
But, you have to have enough reliable Bartertowners on board to make it work.

Some GW Battle Bunkers stock some Forgeworld stuff. If you've got one nearby, you could check.

I was afraid of that- I have done a couple group orders in the past, but the old credit card can't handle that kind of punishment anymore. North Carolina sucks- not a single decent GW store within 6 hours... Oh well, I guess I will keep trolling Feebay and hope. Thanks guys.

Re: Forgeworld retail order
I was part of a massive FW order that mrrshann618 put togeather in January.. he helmed a big enough order for us to get the expidited shipping.
Maybe it is time to try again if someone wanted to collect the orders.. I know there are some small things I want...

2+2=5 for sufficiently large values of 2.

That hurts my wallet even thinking about it.

Re: Forgeworld retail order
I'm out. I already ordered FW when the exchange rate was better, and I've spent my GW budget for the year.

I don't play 40K, so FW really doesn't have much to offer me... except that 230Pound Chaos warelephant... but I can't afford it.Adunaphel wrote:I could be in.

Re: Forgeworld retail order
Well after reading this post and seeing people begging for a way to get forgeworld I went to look for myself.
FW reallly doesn't support Tzeentch, so I really don't need anything myself (except for the things that are way to expensive)
I'd like to be able to say that I could front a 2nd order, but like most people I cannot afford the initial outlay of cash at this time.

The Lord of Change is supposed to be coming out around Christmas.mrrshann618 wrote:Well after reading this post and seeing people begging for a way to get forgeworld I went to look for myself.

@EVERYONE: Don't buy large amounts of FW stuff from Battlebunkers. They will take you for huge amounts of cash. They make the arbitrary decision of charging double the UK pounds rate when it's actually only like 1.5~x the current dollar. If you're going to order it REALLY is better to do it as part of a group or you're going to get taken for a ride.

Yeah I saw the prototype picture from one of the game days.HarlequinZero wrote: The Lord of Change is supposed to be coming out around Christmas.
That may be in my forseeable future. I'm comparing more like they have khorne beserkers, khorne/nurgle termi, khorne/nurgle specific warmachines, ect. They just released the new keeper of secrets (nice model) but it seems that FW only likes nurgle, and a lesser part khorne.
I've already purchased a ton of vehicle doors, and the 1ksuns dread. the only other thing I'd really want is more arms for the dread for swapping purposes.

Re: Forgeworld retail order
First, to answer the original question, yes there is: http://www.apocabitznow.com/. They don't carry everything and they charge a bit more than the standard 1.5x the going conversion rate (a lot more actually), but it's an option for those willing to pay the extra cost.
Second, like most people I can't afford the initial outlay of cash it would take, but I have some things I'd love to get there and would be happy to hop on the bandwagon and pay for my share once it arrives. I'd even be happy to chip in an extra say $5 to the person placing the initial order as a thank-you for taking the risk.
