Old Adeptus Mechanicus and Nurgle Champ worth anything?

Post by consectari »

I've got these 2 older minis that were each sold as a lot with another mini I wanted. Neither really fits in any way with anything I'm planning.

Are they worth trying to sell or trade off?

Any input appreciated.

So, I can't see SoL or your image at work.
Forgive me for asking...

Are these old Skullz promo items? I know Skullz did Ad Mech stuff, but I don't know about Nurgle.

Or, are these just older GW minis?

If they're Skullz... then they're definitely worth something.
If they're older "regular" GW minis, then they're just like everything else... It depends on the people seeing them.

I'd suggest ebay for the Ad Mech mini. There are a lot of people who build Ad Mech armies and would, probably, jump at an Ad Mech mini. As for the Nurgle one... I don't know.

I think what this situation needs is some imagination.

No, I'm fairly sure he's not from the Skullz promos. They're just old oop minis.

The Adeptus is NOT from the Skullz set.

Those are both really really old GW figs. I say REALLY old yet I owned them both at one time years ago. The AM guy I believe was sold as a techmarine or something. THe other guy is a old Marauder RoC champion IIRC. Both are RT era.

Yeah, they are both stamped with what appears to be 1988 or 1989. That last digit is poorly stamped on both.

Oddly enough, I bought some of the Nurgle Champs from the collectors archive like 3 months ago. Of course they did not have the one with the bell staff that I really wanted. The bell staff guy is the other mini I bought in the lot with this one.
