Vacations, moving, active duty, etc. when trading

Post by ancientsociety »

Just a friendly reminder to everyone-

If you are going on vacation, moving, on active duty/training, or anything else where you are otherwise indisposed from completing a trade (or causing any delay)....MAKE IT CLEAR TO YOUR TRADE PARTNERS FIRST.

Don't be surprised, mad, or snippy; if the uninformed other party in your trade writes because he/she has yet to receive your promised items. YOU never pointed out that you would be indisposed before agreeing to trade.

If you are having a third party (family member, friend, etc.) send your trade items out, provide them with the other party's contact info and have them email/PM when the items are shipped.

Whether or not you feel you have better or bigger things to concentrate on then trading, doesn't mean your trade partner feels the same way. Would you be happy if that 32" Plasma TV you ordered from Best Buy didn't arrive because BB has "better things to do"?? Exactly.

Okay, end of public service announcement/rant.

Trading Guidelines:
1. Lower rating ships first - even if I am purchasing.
2. If you agree to buy something, you have 72hrs. in which to pay. If payment is not received in 72hrs., I will automatically post a Non-Payment/Backout thread.
3. Refs are left upon positive receipt of goods, NEVER beforehand!
4. I accept Paypal & USPS money orders and charge for shipping AT COST. I make no profit from it.
5. I trade NIB/new models at retail.
