Hostess is going out of business. Without worrying about any of the politics involved, let us remember the deliciously bad for you treats. Which were your favorites? Even though I still get red-faced saying it, I love me some Ding Dongs. Twinkies and Ho Ho's were pretty great also. My mom always bought Suzy Q's for my school lunchbox, which seemed like a waste to me since it was just cake with a little bit of filling as opposed to the others which seemed to be mostly icing and filling with just a bit of cake holding it all together. Much like the character Tallahassee, I hate Sno-balls for the consistency, not the taste.

Maybe the kooky Mayan calendar thing is right?! The world is ending, gather your snack cakes and head for the hills!

did it really matter almost as a kid what hostess cake you shoved in your pie hole? myself.....it didnt matter. id eat them all. i have a 46 size waist to prove it

yeah the hostess vendor where i work only had 40 percent of their product already. so if you want hostess go buy it now. they have 36 bakeries, 3 closed down and 26 are on strike. leaving only 7 making anything to go on shelves.

I think that the name brand recognition will bring the snakie cakes back....but not any time soon.
