I recently decided and go ahead with my idea of making a necron army based on the orks. I always liked the Necrons and their play style (never actually played some) and since I play Ork and that it's possible to convert Orks to do everything, I decided to give it a try. A big Mek and a Mad doc faced a Necron army once and decided they needed one
I have pretty much decided how each unit will be represented, although I am always open to suggestions.
Now I want to start with 1 or 2 10 man necron warrior squad. I decided to modify/convert Ork boys for this.
I wanted to know if anyone had ideas as to which bitzs I could use to make my ork more cybernetic/enhanced/robotic. As of now the best I could find out was mix necron warriors with ork boys, I was surprised by how it turned out (I thought it would never work). The bits do not have to be from the 40k range although I dont want to ruin myself doing this army I found some bitz but they were like 6 euros for 3 arms.
