super heavy hull points?
Does anyone know what, if any, changes were made to FW and other heavy and super heavy vehicles were made for 6e.?
Since GW makes some super heavies, there has to be some rules or updates for them.
I can't see a shadowsword not being tougher, having more hp or higher AR, than a land raider.

- A simple 'not interested' to a trade offer is just being polite. It helps people setting up multiple trades know where they stand.

Each structure point is worth 3 hull points. They also clarified degradation. Same document also has the gargantuan creatures rules. Easy enough to find on the site, and necessary to use them in 6E.

It probably takes as much time for someone familiar with the site to post a link as it took you to post that message.
If you don't want to help out--don't. But don't respond to requests for help with "Why don't you just do it yourself?"
Here is the link for everyone that did not get a PM:

I am always in the market for weird and wonderful GW oddbitz and ephemera. PM me if you have something old/weird/rare.

Re: super heavy hull points?
For the record I wasn't trying to be a pain in the butt. I had already checked the FW site and couldn't find the info. I did searches for "downloads" and "updates" to no avail. By clicking the link I see that it comes from a news section but I still don't see how you get there from the front page. I appreciated the link in that was PMed to me, so thanks for that and now I'm glad to see a link here in the thread for everyone to use. I'm glad to be able to try and add a Junka to my SpeedFreaks army so thanks guys!

Re: super heavy hull points?
Ya, I actually have all the erratas saved on my computer from the last time I found them, but it still took me a couple minutes to remember how I got to them. There is one sad little link on the front page... (as noted by the red box of justice)
Sorry I didn't post the link in the thread, I know we have rules about links and things so didn't want to anger the management!

Re: super heavy hull points?
OMG!!!! Not to stray off topic but while reading through the various links I found that I can use the Allies rules with the Deff Dread Mob and my regular Ork Codex army! This solves o many of the problems I've been having fitting all of models into my army! This might actually get me to play a game of 40K! Sorry for the excitement but this is awesome for me!!

Re: super heavy hull points?
I had thought about that, but the only problem I see is that the dreads, while very cool, still are not scoring units
Unless I missed something in the rules, deff dread mods don't make the dreads scoring. If they did, I would invest heavily in dreads.......

Re: super heavy hull points?
So if something is taken as a Troops choice is doesn't count as Troops??? That doesn't make sense to me. For instance Codex Orcs allows 1 unit of Nobz to be taken as Troops if you take a Warboss, so that Nobz unit wouldn't count as troops?? That kind of nukes the whole idea I had of SpeedFreaks if it's true. Half of my "Troops" are Warbikes units.

Re: super heavy hull points?
6E specifically calls out that vehicles and swarms cannot be scoring units (unless you are playing Big guns Never Tire or The Scouring). So things like dreads and transports cannot claim objectives, even if they are troops choices.

Re: super heavy hull points?
Well, with CSM, when you take a lord with a mark of 1 of the 4 dark gods, you can choose the respective elite unit as a troops choice. IE Lord with Mark of Nurgle, you can take Death Guard. The DG are now troops and therfore, scoring units.
