Interest Check! 2nd and 3rd Edition Space Marines

Post by Wendigo »

I bought a small 10-12 year old SM army from a friend of mine and I'm wondering what the interest level was for these models. I have five 2nd edition space marines and about 15-20 3rd edition marines. I'm currently interested in Warhammer fantasy and I'm trying to gauge the value of these guys, which are all newly stripped.

Hi,

2nd edition metal marines might find some interest but the value of it is not that high, less than RT models for sure.
3rd edition marines are the same as the current ones for plastic, for metal, it all depends on the models but their value as quite the same as 2nd edition.
If you have pics of them, i'd be easier to tell, but don't expect to make a profit out of them

Marine wise and limited editions apart, the hard to get models are:

-Terminator Prototypes
-Transition marines
-Mispacked Chaplain Cassius with bolter flamer
-MK1 vet with power maul

I guess a picture would probably help, here's a sampling of some of the models which I have yet to fully clean up/reprime.

Those are all pretty common, probably worth slightly less than regular current marines.

I expect honesty about models' conditions, thank you.

If I don't respond in a day or two, please check back, I've forgotten-sorry.
