Magic Online
I read that you can't trade sell MMORPG accounts and items and that is fine but can I trade my magic online cards?

Re: Magic Online
Thanks for reading the rules and asking questions in ADVANCE of posting..
Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you
The answer is.. Nope.. cannot. No Online Gaming of ANY kind is allowed here. Purely stuff you can touch, handle, and occasionally throw at a wall.

2+2=5 for sufficiently large values of 2.
If you don't have your Location listed in your User Control Panel, why not take a second and update it? It will let your trading partners know where you are from the beginning.
I use the Unofficial Porkuslime Trading Guidelines - if you have way less refs.. you ship first.

Re: Magic Online
Heh, that's a good question, because MTGO cards are convertible (full-set) into physical cards.
Feedback as "JohnHwangBT" on Bartertown

Re: Magic Online
Trading your Online MTG cards into real cards.. and then trading THOSE cards is allowed.. but not trading MTGO cards for something physical, be it cash, models, or other CCG cards.
I bet there is a MTGO trade forum somewhere.. just not here.

Re: Magic Online
but you can sell the the UNOPENED box. say your grandmother buys you another WoW, basic box set.
you already have it and have an account.you CAN sell the unopened basic set, but not the account you've played for 3 years [or even 3 minutes.]
HEY!
heres a good rule of thumb.
"If you can bring it back to a store for a refund, you can't trade/sell/list it here."

Re: Magic Online
So, say I buy Bessie the Cow at my local stockyard. Could I get a Apocalypse sized Imperial Guard army for her?
Just kidding. All the threads have gotten dreadfully serious of late.
Kudos to the original poster for actually reading the rules. That HAS to be a first. Heck, I didn't do it until I had to post a BTR.

Bessie the Guardsman
Bessie can be resonably priced at cme.com
Cows are currently at about 84 cents per pound in futures trading. (http://elivestockrdc.cme.com:443/index.html)
So depending on how large Bessie is, Dairy Cows seem to range from about 550lbs up to 800lbs (http://www.clearviewcattlecompany.com/? ... GgodIjb-Iw)
So yeah, Bessie seems like a great trading value. You might want to look into local delivery though...

Actually, any attempts to trade or sell Bessie on Bartertown would get you in trouble.
Check the rules:
viewtopic.php?f=44&t=45470
Specifically,
You know, for an established trader, I REALLY expected more of you.Rule #8: Concerning 'acceptable' trade materials:
Nothing that violates the law in the United States. That includes copyright law, federal law, state law, local law...get the idea?
No weapons of any kind. This is not a political statement, this is a rule of the website as decided by Trademaster Adam and myself.
NO FIREARMS OR WEAPONS.
Anyone who posts an ad asking for firearms or other weapons in trade for anything will be immediately and permanently banned.
That means no: Guns (be they BB or powder-powered), Rifles, Shotguns, Automatic Firearms, cans of spam, Semi-Automatic firearms, bows, arrows, crossbows, shuriken, shaken, trained attack squirrels, sharpened spoons, blades of any length or type, polearms, explosives, combustables, blunt-force instruments (batons, nightsticks, tonfa, escrima, etc) or boots-to-the-head. That includes practice weapons like SCA and Olympic fencing gear, dulled aluminum samurai swords, tree branches, darts, plastic kitchenware and cooking pans.
Paintball and Airsoft equipment are acceptable.
"Boffer" style weapons made of PVC pipe and foam padding are acceptable.
If you have questions whether or not your item qualifies as "boffer" then contact me before you post. I will clarify.
Firearm accessories are NOT acceptable.
That means no magazines (what holds the bullets), clips, parts, shells, reloading equipment, gunpowder, sights, or anything else I deem related to firearms or weaponry.
Animals are NOT acceptable trade materials. We're just not going to go there. For that matter, human beings or any of their constituent parts aren't acceptable trade materials either.
I'm QUITE disappointed.
Eric

Oh Man!!!
Eric, you sir, are a party pooper.
And here I was set to PM kturock about how much USPS would charge me to ship ol' Bessie overseas and what size box he would recommend.
Or maybe to Canada as a "gift"...
Nice links Aaron.

Apparently the Cattle Trading world has heard MM loud and clear:
Cattle futures are down 3 cents a pound. Good going MM, I hope the little farmer children enjoy their old boots for dinner tonight.CME Live Cattle 80.950 -212
