Well I have tried to work a deal with this guy twice now. He wont respond to my PMs and part of what we where going to trade it now listed at Bartertown again!

I would like to leave negative feedback as he has strung this trade on and wasted much of my time, and I passed on other trades to work this one out. I want to see if that is within the guidelines.

PM string follows:

So it looks like you are flaking on our deal as I see some of the items in your new post, and you wont respond. Furthermore I see you want items that I was trading to you. You know once we have an agreement it is against B-town policy to back out? That a negative reference can be left when you do that?

I would like you to remedy this quickly before I have to take such action. I was very patent while your "family member" was in the hospital. Don't screw me over as I have now been waiting over a week to conclude this deal!

Sounds good, no worries I will trade for them, you just had about the perfect army for what I wanted to run so it was a shame. I ask that you package the Professionally Converted figures extra well please as the greenstuff work can break pretty easy in transit. Thank you again I look forward to getting the models!!!

My address is as follows:

Demian Willett
***** ***** *****
****** ** *****

I will let you know when they arrive and ship the next available shipping day. I typically ship through UPS with tracking and at least $100 in insurance.

Well, you do have the potential to leave a negative here.
Keep in mind that it's fairly rare for someone to leave a negative for a backed out trade... but it IS within the realm of allowed responses.

Only seeing a few posts, it's hard to get the scope of the full deal, especially since you mention a prior back out or problem trade negotiation. What you DID post, however, seems pretty cut & dried.

Have you checked your Sent messages box to see if he's even opened those PMs?

Eric

I have and I do not believe he has opened them, however like I said he posted some of the models I was trading for, and he posted looking for the models I was going to trade him. So not only do I feel like I have been wronged but I feel like he might do it again to someone else. I am undecided at this point if I want to leave neg feedback I just wish he would contact me and try and make things right.

This reads like some PMs were left out.

For instance, it reads like he thought you were going to send first, but then something got worked out and he was supposed to send first. Next, you mention that he had problems with a family member, yet no PM discusses that.

This does not read like the full line of PMs associated with this potential trade.

Well for starters he contacted me and while I am still upset and feel taken advantage of, I am just going to let this one sleep. I believe some of the string is missing as the title of the PM changed. I also do not have the string of the original deal as he called it off and I deleted the string he then recontacted me a few days later asking if we could still trade. Below is some of the other PM string I found.

I am sorry to hear that, I hop everything gets better. Let me know once you have everything under control and mail out.

Thanks for the heads up

Hey man, I just wanted to let you know that I had to put all my trades on hold for a few days. I had an immediate family member enter the hospital, and I need to take care of some issues for the next couple of days. I am sorry. I will get back in touch with you in a couple of days once everything is under control here, and I can get things packed up and shipped. Thanks for understanding.

This was a terrible mis-communication between myself and my studio partner. There were no back out intentions. I had said in a PM that I had to go away for a few days, I promptly contacted Mantanza upon my return and tried to explain the whole situation. He agreed to let it go, as I feel he knew that I had not intentionally tried to back-out or neglect an agreed to trade. I have made 6 completed trades in my first few weeks here all with very positive remarks, and sincerely apologized to Mantanza for the bad mix-up.

May I please ask that my address be edited out of this post. The poster was kind enough to edit his address out, but left mine. I don't feel that is necessary.

I removed the street address for you.

Typically, in a backout or bad trader complaint, the address of the individual the report is about is allowed (even expected) to be posted when known. Honestly, yours does qualify for inclusion.

Only the fact that you stepped in, admitted the error, and stayed reasonable influenced my decision.

Thanks.

Eric
